UNRULED PASSENGERS

In the context of the increasing threat of terrorism, the priority activity of the Airline is to ensure the safety of passengers at all stages of air transportation, from the moment of registration to the flight and ending with the baggage claiming at the destination airport. Particular attention is paid to ensuring the safety of passengers in flight and maintaining the established order on board the aircraft of the Airline.

This is also related to the tendency increasing the number of incidents in the world due to the unlawful behavior of individual passengers during the flight. Unfortunately, Ukraine's civil aviation did not miss such a negative trend either.

Some passengers, usually in the state of alcohol intoxication, ignore the established rules of conduct in the flight and commit illegal acts on board the aircraft, which destabilize the psychological microclimate on board, seriously interfere to the normal work of the crew, make discomfort for other passengers, and, ultimately, create a real threat to the safety of the flight.

The basis of the policy of the Airline for unruled passengers is intolerance to those who commit offenses and inadmissible acts.

Also considered the provisions of the Tokyo Convention of the International Civil Aviation Organization of 1963, according to which an aircraft commander, for the purpose of ensuring flight safety and the preservation of discipline on board, may land any passenger who has committed or is about commit on board aircraft an act which create a hazard to the aircraft, people or their property, in the territory of any state where the aircraft is landing.

In accordance with international and national legislation, the Airline provides crew members of its aircraft with a range of powers to stop illegal actions and maintain order on board.

In the event of any aggressive action by the passenger, crew members have the right to use all facilities, including physical deterrence, to resolve the situation and transfer the offender to law enforcement authorities at the landing airport. At the same time, the commanders of the aircraft of the airline to restore order on board and ensure the safety of passengers granted the right to unplanned landing at any nearest aerodrome (airport).

For your information provides a list of unlawful actions that may lead to administrative or criminal liability:
