The Kyiv Court of Appeal has cancelled a ruling of Baryshivka Court to suspend SkyUp’s license. The final, sixth, hearing in the case took place on September 25.
Neither the Committee on the Protection of the Crime Victims’ Rights NGO nor the fake “plaintiff” Oksana Pasenko appeared in court. At the same time, the Committee again declared the judge's rejection.
The hearing panel found that such a suit was another procedural abuse and left the claim of the NGO without consideration.
Subsequently, the Kyiv Court of Appeal announced the cancellation of the Baryshivka Court decision.
“We have been fighting for openness, the rule of law, and fair competition for four months. And we have finally won. Baryshivka Court decision declared illegal! There was no room for any other result in a state governed by the rule of law. We’ll continue to launch new affordable flights within Ukraine and around the world and fight to protect our common right, #RightToFly”, said Oleksandr Alba.
