During December, SkyUp performed 1,027 flights*, which were used by 143,550 passengers*. Dubai, Tbilisi and Istanbul remain the most popular regular routes for the second month in a row.

Opening Israel
This month SkyUp expanded its route network from Ukraine to Israel. From now on, in addition to Kyiv, you can fly to Tel Aviv from Odesa - on December 15, the first flight Odesa - Tel Aviv was performed. Just two and a half hours in the sky and you are in the very heart of Israel. And in 2022, it is planned to start flights to Tel Aviv from Lviv (from March 31) and Kharkiv (from May 26).
Summer in the middle of winter
Golden sands of magnificent beaches, the greatness of the ocean and the unique oriental flavor - the island of Ceylon knows how to surprise. On December 28, SkyUp Airlines began operating flights from Kyiv to Hambantota, the capital of the southern province of Sri Lanka. The flight program provides only a 10-day round-trip option with departure from Kyiv.
Steep slopes of the Alps
On December 26, 2021, SkyUp flew from Kyiv to Salzburg - both mountain lovers and those who are delighted with the magnificent architecture and aesthetics had the opportunity to enjoy this small city in Austria. Flights will be operated once a week, and the flight program will continue until the end of winter.
We fly from regions
SkyUp continues to develop its regional flight program. In December, we opened the sale of tickets to new destinations from Lviv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia - in the spring of 2022 it will be possible to go to Austria, Spain and Greece with direct flights.
In addition, we prepared in advance for the onset of the warm season and announced a large-scale flight program for the summer of 2022: the list includes more than 107 routes to 30 countries from Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Odesa, and Kharkiv.
Victory in the "Heart of the Airspace" award
SkyUp Airlines won the Ukraine Tourism Awards 2021 in the "Heart of the Airspace" category. A professional jury and spectators chose the best among Ukrainian airlines according to the country's main tourism award. The choice was made according to the following criteria: an active marketing campaign throughout the year, a large number of passenger traffic, expansion of the route network and the introduction of new destinations. We are sincerely grateful to our best passengers and the jury for their loyalty, recognition and trust.
The atmosphere of the New Year on the wings of SkyUp
We at SkyUp love the New Year, and even more we love to share the festive atmosphere with our passengers. Therefore, we with our partners decided to create the atmosphere of the New Year right in the cabin. Before the holidays our flights were visited by Santa, who shared gifts from yakaboo and Dodo Toys with little flight lovers. Together with the development company ENSO, we also prepared gifts: children on flights from Madrid, Barcelona, Nice, Paris (Beauvais), Dubai, Lisbon, Funchal were presented with backpacks. To make the flight on the last day of the year memorable for our passengers and become one continuous sweet adventure, DO&CO Kyiv treated all passengers on flights from Kyiv with a mousse dessert mango-peach.

Letters for Santa
From December 21 to December 31, 2021, everyone could write a letter to Santa and get a discount for the upcoming trip up to 50%. Santa recounted that he received 14,869 letters from travelers. And just on New Year's Eve, passengers received a letter with an individual promotional code for a discount for the upcoming trip.
