SkyUp Airlines, one of the largest air carriers in Ukraine since 2017, announce a new career opportunity - Fuel Procurement Team Lead in our Procurement Department (remote).
The mission of the role is leading the fuel procurement activities for the group of companies globally.

Main responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for:

Development and implementation of Fuel Supply Strategy approved by the management.
Development and implementation of marketing instruments for fuel procurement risk management and cost-efficiency.
Prepare the budget for the fuel procurement.
Lead the process of regular fuel supply tenders, report the results.
Provide the analysis of fuel pricing historical data, trends and forecasts.
Follow the international legal requirements in the sphere of aviation fuel procurement including SAF, provide recommendations to the management regarding necessary improvements in processes and approaches.
Implement the follow up reports for fuel procurement. Analyze cost efficiency of the fuel supply operation, report the dynamics of the fuel cost per seat regularly.
Develop and implement the working procedures supporting efficient invoice management, contract management and enabling the evaluation of the overhaul efficiency of the fuel procurement function. Implement KPIs for such evaluation.
Lead the team of fuel procurement (2 team members).

Requirements:

Professional experience and skills:

Solid proven experience in international aviation fuel procurement/trade.
Knowledge of fuel procurement/supply contracts, international legislation in aviation fuel supply/procurement, commodity stock trading operations, market fuel pricing structure and principles.
Education in Economics, Engineering, Technical or other relevant (BS/MS Degree).
International supply chain/procurement/aviation/other professional certifications to be a strong asset.
Strong analytic skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
People management skills.
Ability to keep focus delivering the result in time in limited information business environment.
Ability to lead and take decisions under the lack of supervision.
