SkyUp™ ACMI Division Sees 44.7% Growth Compared to Last Year

SkyUp™ continues to expand its ACMI services, achieving significant growth in the summer season of 2024. From April 1 to October 31, the airline operated 10,129* flights and carried 1,523,414* passengers — an increase of 44.7% compared to the same period last year, when SkyUp™ transported 1,052,658* passengers. 

In 2024, SkyUp Airlines expanded its reach to 49* countries and 143* airports worldwide. This growth in flight frequency and destinations highlights the strong demand for SkyUp™'s ACMI services among its partners. 

Between April 1 and October 31, 2024, SkyUp Airlines successfully partnered with 7 airlines under ACMI contracts, including well-known companies such as WizzAir, HiSky, Arkia, US-Bangla, and Israir. 

"We have been active in the ACMI market for over two years, and it remains a key focus for our airline. The results from the 2024 season show positive growth. During this period, we significantly increased the number of flights and passengers carried, which reflects the growing trust our partners have in us. We see continued potential for growth in the ACMI sector and will keep working to expand this segment", said Dmytro Sieroukhov, General Director of SkyUp Airlines. 

 

SkyUp Airlines is not only expanding its ACMI services in Europe but is also exploring new opportunities in other regions, including Asia, Africa, and North America. 

The list of the top 3 countries with the highest number of flights operated by SkyUp has changed this year. The leading countries by flight volume are: 

  • Egypt – 1,526* flights 
  • Romania – 1,445* flights 
  • Moldova – 923* flights 

SkyUp Airlines is a Ukrainian airline that began operations in 2018 and has shown remarkable growth in a short time. The airline has significantly expanded its network, increasing the number of airports and destinations served, and strengthened its partnership network in the international market.
