On April 4, 2022, the UR-SQP Boeing 737-800 of SkyUp Airlines flew from Boryspil International Airport to Iasi Airport (Romania). The evacuation of the plane took place in the interests of the state.

Last year we operated the number of evacuation and humanitarian flights,» comments Dmytro Syeroukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines. «Our cooperation with the state continues, and our planes will provide flights in the interests of Ukraine.»
The 189-seat Boeing 737-800 UR-SQP was the only SkyUp aircraft remaining in Boryspil after the full-scale invasion began. All other planes were moved abroad in advance.
Some of them are involved in the operational activities of SkyUp, as the company provides wet leasing services, performs charter, humanitarian, evacuation and special flights. In 2022, according to SkyUp Airlines internal statistics, we performed 7,713 flights, transported more than 1.08 million passengers and transferred almost UAH 100 million in taxes to the state budget.
