Aircraft Fleet

Under ACMI contracts, SkyUp Airlines offers a fleet of 10 medium-haul Boeing 737 aircraft, with an average age of 14 years. To further enhance fuel efficiency, nine of these aircraft are equipped with Split Scimitar winglets, which help reduce CO2 emissions.

Five Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft are fitted with the SkyInterior configuration, featuring an improved interior design with modern LED lighting and more spacious overhead bins. The cabin’s ambient lighting, which changes depending on the flight phase, creates a cozy atmosphere and enhances passenger comfort on long-haul flights. The remaining aircraft are equipped with classic interiors that also meet high comfort standards.

Most of the company’s aircraft are fitted with comfortable and lightweight Acro and Recaro seats. However, there are plans to upgrade to the more current Geven seats, designed by Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. These seats, which are already installed on aircraft UR-SQO and 9H-SAU, offer enhanced comfort and ergonomics, as well as additional space, making the flight more enjoyable for passengers.

Crews

SkyUp Airlines employs 354 cabin crew members and 168 pilots. We adhere to the highest standards of safety and service, which is why all our staff undergo comprehensive training approved by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine (SAAU) and in compliance with ICAO (DOC 10002) and EASA standards.

Our cabin crew regularly participates in additional courses to continuously improve their skills. For example, in 2023, senior cabin crew members completed a First Aid course. Additionally, all our cabin crew have completed courses in conflict resolution and in-flight service.

In 2024, SkyUp Airlines was awarded the prestigious Amber Sky Best Sales Pitch Award, reflecting the high level of training and professionalism of our team.
