SkyUp Airlines is one of the leaders of the Ukrainian aviation industry. In 2021, we carried 2.57 million people and performed the second largest amount of flights among Ukrainian airlines. For this year, we have planned even more.

However, the war and the ban of Ukrainian airspace has changed the situation. Therefore, we are looking for partners for cooperation. For 2022, we already have a successful experience of cooperation under long-term contracts with 9 companies.

Fleet

We currently provide 11 medium-haul Boeing-737 aircraft, the average age of which is 14 years, on a wet lease basis.

The company's aircraft fleet consists of:

9 medium-haul Boeing 737-800 NG type (189 Seats)
2 medium-haul Boeing 737-700 NG (149 Seats)

SAFA=0,30

During the first half of 2022, there were 22 SAFA inspections of SkyUp Airlines flights carried out at various airports, so our SAFA rating is 0.30 as of today. In addition, we have successfully undergone audits of partnering airlines that lease-in our aircraft.

SkyUp has an EASA TCO and the right to operate flights to the UK, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, in June 2022, we received the Swiss TCO, thus confirming full compliance with Swiss and EU aviation safety standards.

Aircraft

Our Boeing 737-800 New Generation planes are equipped with the SkyInterior configuration – an improved interior design with LED lighting and more convenient and spacious luggage shelves. Multi-colored interior lighting, which is selected depending on the phase of the flight, creates an atmosphere of comfort and allows passengers to better endure long flights. Some of the aircraft – UR-SQO and UR-SQM, have been refurbished with more modern and comfortable Geven seats, designed by the famous Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. All other aircraft of the company are equipped with slim and modern Acro seats. Soon it is planned to install Geven seats on all the company's airplanes. These seats are more comfortable and ergonomic for passengers, and also provide additional space, which makes the flight more comfortable and pleasant.

SkyUp

SkyUp aircraft are equipped with Split Scimitar Winglets. The use of such winglets is aimed for reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and fuel savings.

Crew

Currently, the company employs 408 flight attendants and 204 pilots. The crews undergo all types of training developed in accordance with programs and standards of ICAO, EASA, approved by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine. In addition to mandatory training, flight attendants take additional courses in the company, constantly improving their professional level. For example, last year, senior flight attendants completed an additional First Aid course. Moreover, all flight attendants took courses in conflict studies and the basics of service provision on board.

By using our planes, you will help us to continue operations during the war and pay taxes to the state treasury, keep the jobs of more than 1,500 employees and support Ukrainians.
