Tickets from Kyiv (KBP) — Prague (PRG)
To love the way she is. Because neither the socialist past, nor the vicissitudes of politics could eradicate the incredible fairy tale of a city with a thousand-year history. You don't need a time machine here, because the whole city resembles it very much. So let's get inspired by the beauty of Prague?
To get around the city
From Vaclav Havel Airport the city center is easily accessible by city bus.
By the way, there is a single ticket for all types of public transport in Prague. The cost depends on the validity period. So, for example, a ticket for 30 minutes will cost € 1 *, for 3 days — € 11.4 *. Tickets can be purchased from vending machines at the metro entrance or at public transport stops.
Taxis are also available, in particular the well-known Uber. And if you want a local alternative, download the AAA Radio Taxi and Modrý anděl apps.
To see
A short weekend and a quick overview of the most important locations are not about this city. Therefore, the must-see section will probably be the largest in the history of our guides.
The first and most important tourist mecca of Prague is Prague Castle. Fortress of the XIV century, in which the Roman and Czech emperors once lived, and now the president of the country sits. The Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Golden Street and the Basilica of St. Jiri are considered cult places here. This is one of the oldest Romanesque basilicas in the Czech Republic.
Nearby there is a picturesque part of the city — Mala Strana. Here you want to get lost for the whole day. And the narrow streets are enveloped in the architectural charm of the 17th century.
From here, boldly walk to The Charles Bridge in order to get to another architectural wonder of Prague - the Old Town. In the Old Town Square, take a photo against the backdrop of the Church of Our Lady before Týn, St. Mikulas Cathedral and the Kinsky Palace. Three radically different architectural solutions are gracefully combined with the atmosphere of this incredible city.
Be sure to visit Josefov. These are the remains of the Jewish quarter, which was founded in the 10th century. The Old Jewish cemetery has been preserved here.
From here, head towards Vysehrad. This is a beautiful fortress on the banks of the Vltava River. There are many legends around it, and it will surprise even the experienced tourist with its scale.
Regarding Prague Art Nouveau.
Pragovka - once a factory, but now a huge art space in the industrial part of the city. It hosts exhibitions, concerts and events. Check the timetable on the website and dive headlong into the cultural life of the city.
Cinemas: Světozor, Aero and Bio Oko.
Well, it's worth visiting the green zone, because Prague is a park city. Our favorites are Stromovka and Letna. Large, spacious, green and very beautiful parks.
And to look at the city from above, head to Mount Petršn. You can and should take the funicular, and do not forget to bring a rug and some goodies for a panoramic picnic.
To eat
There are many options for a nosh: from small bistros and cozy cafes to pompous and famous restaurants. It all depends on your budget, timing and taste preferences.
There are many soup spots in Prague, and the locals like to order the menu of the day and not to worry about anything.
And don't forget to drink some delicious Prague beer. After all, where if not here? The price tag for a pint starts at € 2 *.
To explore (things to see out of the city)
If you still have strength after a busy tourist program in the city, be sure to scout out the castle locations around it. For example, the Gothic Karlštejn or the White Castle of Konopiste.
Then, head to Karlovy Vary. After all, aren’t you worse than the thousands of aristocrats who have come here for centuries for the healing properties of the terms?
To stay
A budget option for an overnight stay is available in any tourist season. What is more important is to choose the area that suits you. We recommend staying in the first ten areas. And exclude the first and second ones from your list if you don't like the noisy tourist crowd.
A night in a hostel will cost from € 8 *, while the price of a good hotel with a pool and a terrace starts from € 70 *.

We at SkyUp want your trip to be comfortable and beautiful, and that you completely relax, forget about any worries and set out to relax already in the cabin.
SkyInterior on our sides SkyUp is one of the reasons why it is so pleasant and comfortable to fly with us. This is an integrated approach to the design of the aircraft cabin, which is based on the principles of ergonomics, rationalism and, of course, comfort.
The main and really impressive effect, which is noted by absolutely everything - is the multi-colored interior lighting, which is selected depending on the phase of flight. The colors change very smoothly within a few minutes and create an inconspicuous calming and relaxing effect during the flight.
In the night phase of the flight, the light is turned off; for comfort, only the pleasant blue Sky Skylight remains, which somewhat resembles the light of the moon. At dawn, when the time to wake up, the color of the backlight changes to orange-pink - the color of the rising sun.
SkyUp offers to enjoy the comfort of modern lounges and feel the incredible emotions during the flight. After all, the journey must begin beautifully, do you agree?
