Cheap flights from Kyiv (KBP) - to Bratislava (BTS)
In the shadow of two neighboring brothers, Budapest and Vienna, we often forget about the beautiful European capital on the banks of Danube river. With castles, historic centre, wine, and large park areas. Bratislava deserves to be noticed, and we intend to remind you of this once again.
To get around the city
The airport is located 10 km from the city centre.
Bratislava has a very extensive public transport network. Trams and buses are the most popular. Ticket fares are not calculated on the number of trips, but on its duration. The 15-minute fare is €0.7*. Be sure to buy a ticket, as the controllers do not wear uniforms here, and the fine for unpaid travel is €30*.
Let's start with the imperishable classics, the Old Town and its tourist attractions. It is small in Bratislava, but full of interesting things. For example, street art with scenes from Van Gogh's paintings or Andersen's image with a snail.
Be sure to look at the religious shrines in the centre: St. Martin's Cathedral or St. Michael's Gate.
Well, a classic must-do, to climb the mountain to Bratislava Castle. It is open for visitors from Tuesdays to Fridays from 10:00 to 18:00. But the amazing panorama of the city is available daily and completely free of charge.
Do not forget to take a look at the New Bridge. It has a truly unique design because it is a suspension bridge that has only one balance point. There is a separate observation deck with a restaurant. But in any case, you can just walk across the bridge: explore its street art and cross the Danube to the other side. There you will find a large and pleasant park, in the centre of which an unusual "gazebo" — the Gothic dome of the church is located.
There is another castle in Bratislava — Devin. To get there, take bus No.29 from the stop "SNP Bridge" and go to the final stop. The castle hangs beautifully over the Danube, and there are often knightly tournaments and medieval festivals.
For €4-5* you can arrange a hearty and tasty snack in small cafes. A full dinner for two in a good restaurant will cost from €35*.
To explore (things to see out of the city)
Czech Republic, Austria or Hungary. We can say with certainty that such close proximity to other European countries has played a cruel joke on Slovakia. After all, a large percentage of tourists come here to take a shuttle bus to Brno, Czech Republic, or Vienna, Austria, in the evening or in a few hours.
In truth, the distances are really very conditional, and tickets are cheap.
The prices are very nice. Apartments in the centre cost from €20*, and a separate room in the hostel from €15*

We at SkyUp want your trip to be comfortable and beautiful, and that you completely relax, forget about any worries and set out to relax already in the cabin.
SkyInterior on our sides SkyUp is one of the reasons why it is so pleasant and comfortable to fly with us. This is an integrated approach to the design of the aircraft cabin, which is based on the principles of ergonomics, rationalism and, of course, comfort.
The main and really impressive effect, which is noted by absolutely everything - is the multi-colored interior lighting, which is selected depending on the phase of flight. The colors change very smoothly within a few minutes and create an inconspicuous calming and relaxing effect during the flight.
In the night phase of the flight, the light is turned off; for comfort, only the pleasant blue Sky Skylight remains, which somewhat resembles the light of the moon. At dawn, when the time to wake up, the color of the backlight changes to orange-pink - the color of the rising sun.
SkyUp offers to enjoy the comfort of modern lounges and feel the incredible emotions during the flight. After all, the journey must begin beautifully, do you agree?
