Ukrainian brand RITO has created a limited capsule collection of clothes, inspired by cooperation with SkyUp Airlines. Previously, the companies worked on creating a knitted polo for SkyUp flight attendants.

The collection includes 8 items of clothing: knitted women's and unisex polos, as well as pleated skirts. The bright orange, white and navy sets are a nod to travel and leisure, and are classic wardrobe staples that are timeless and seasonless.

Knitted polo shirts, designed by the flagship of Ukrainian knitwear RITO, are the embodiment of elegance and comfort, which became a special distinction of the new generation of uniforms of the SkyUp airline company, in the center of which is the care of its employees.

The collection has been on sale since September 21, and can be viewed and purchased online on the RITO website or in the brand's stores.

The story of one uniform

We will remind you that the new uniform of SkyUp, namely orange trouser suits with a handkerchief on the shoulders and sneakers instead of heels, became the subject of discussion in the international media. The Ukrainian airline has not only received great media coverage and support among women from all over the world, but also started a new trend in global aviation.

For an air carrier, constant improvement and updating of uniforms is a high responsibility to the team. The company not only kept its fleet and crew during the war, but also entered the European market, leaving the heart of the company and the operating office in Kyiv and hoping for a speedy resumption of flights in the peaceful skies over Ukraine.

"The cooperation of the Ukrainian brand RITO and the airline SkyUp is not only about the support of the team and the stability of the business during the war, but also about the worthy representation of Ukrainian business and design on the competitive international market" - said the curator of the project, the owner of a consulting agency in the field of fashion, Olha Tsaregradska.

The company's policy is exclusively to cooperate with Ukrainian designers and manufacturers. This year, the airline also provided uniforms for stewards, who were dressed in double-breasted suits that were sewn at a factory in Chernihiv.

About SkyUp Airlines

SkyUp is an international brand with Ukrainian roots, founded in June 2017. The airline began working on a hybrid model, combining charter and regular flights. The company's mission: to open the world to Ukrainians, and Ukraine to the world. In 4 years of existence, in 2021, the company grew to the second largest air carrier in the country in terms of the volume of transported passengers and flights performed, according to the statistics of Ukraerorukh and SAAU.

With the closure of the Ukrainian sky, SkyUp began operating in Europe. The main areas of activity have become ASMI contracts, charter flights ordered by tour operators, foundations, associations, sports clubs, etc. Quick adaptation to new realities and reorientation of activities helped to preserve and secure the work of the team — about 1,200 employees.

In 2022-2023, the brand has been developing a number of social projects. SkyUp joined the presidential initiative UNITED24 — collected €10,000 for medical needs and "dressed" one of the planes in a special The Power of Freedom livery to popularize the initiative and support Ukraine in the world. Together with FC Shakhtar, as part of the jointly organized series of Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace charity matches, more than €1 million was collected, which was donated to volunteer organizations, doctors, and also aimed at helping Ukrainian children affected by the war. We started to develop barrier-free travel — together with LEVCHIK SPEKTRUM HAB from the Future for Ukraine foundation, we created a project that helps organize the most accessible and comfortable vacation for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their families.

In May 2023, SkyUp MT was opened, a European airline with Maltese registration and certificates. In the near future of the company is launching regular flights on the territory of the EU. Also, the airline plans to be the first to return to Ukrainian skies as soon as it becomes possible after Ukraine's victory.
