SkyUp Airlines recently participated in an international forum focused on the security and recovery of Ukrainian aviation, held in Warsaw, Poland. The event brought together representatives from the governments of Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, and other European Union countries, as well as stakeholders from Ukrainian airports and airlines, international air carriers, leading expert organizations, and aviation suppliers.

SkyUp Airlines actively took part in a panel discussion focused on the operations of airlines during wartime, the transformation of operational activities, and the prospects for safely resuming flights in Ukrainian airspace.

“We would like to thank the Ministry of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and the U.S. Embassy for organizing this important event. It is crucial for developing a unified strategy for the recovery of Ukrainian aviation. Safety is our common top priority. SkyUp Airlines is ready to be the first to return to the skies over Ukraine once airspace is open. We are actively working to maintain our fleet of aircraft and our qualified team, which will allow us to start flights within a few days after receiving the necessary permits. For us, as well as for all market participants, it is important to work on steps and develop plans now so that we can recover Ukrainian aviation as soon as the opportunity arises” — emphasized Dmytro Sieroukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines.

SkyUp Airlines continues to actively contribute to the recovery of Ukrainian aviation, supporting national security and ensuring stability in the aviation sector during these challenging times.
