The new destination is the result of joint efforts of the two countries
Establishing direct regular flights between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia is not only a new opportunity for tourists from both countries to see a new corner of the world, but also an important step towards strengthening cooperation between the countries.
"The opening of Saudi Arabia to international tourists is a historic moment not only for the country itself, but for Ukraine as well. For the first time, a Ukrainian airline has launched direct flights to one of the most mysterious and closed countries in the world. We are proud that SkyUp has been given the opportunity to represent Ukraine in a completely new and little-known corner of the world to the general public and to help open Ukraine for Saudi Arabia”, says Dmytro Seroukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines.
We’re sincerely grateful to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as to the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and State Aviation Services of both countries for actively promoting the implementation of the tourist potential and deepening partnerships between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, including for the efforts made to organize regular SkyUp flights.
