SkyUp Airlines flight PQ6974 Zanzibar – Kyiv, which made a planned stop for refueling in Luxor (Egypt), is currently delayed due to technical reasons.
We sincerely regret that the passengers have to experience this situation and are taking all the necessary steps to get people home as soon as possible. In accordance with the requirements of the Egyptian authorities, citizens of other countries without vaccinations against local diseases cannot enter the country even temporarily. However, SkyUp Airlines has managed to agree on the stay of passengers at the airport and provide them with hot meals.
We are working out several scenarios for the earliest possible organization of the departure of passengers to Kyiv, as well as trying to create comfortable conditions for their staying.
