On March 14, several weeks of training on the Airline Planning Workshop (APW) from aviation giant Boeing begin for SkyUp employees. This programme is dedicated to the basics of modern airline management.

More than 80 workshop participants will study airline business models, network and fleet planning, airline economics, and aircraft performance, as well as sustainability. Deepening expertise in these topics will help the airline improve performance and bring innovation to Ukrainian civil aviation when the time comes for its recovery and relaunch.

We are actively developing on the international market. The partnership with Boeing will help us optimise the operation of our fleet and the company according to the highest standards and in accordance with the latest trends in the aviation industry, which will ultimately provide a better travel experience for our passengers," says Dmytro Sieroukhov, General Director at SkyUp Airlines. "We appreciate this cooperation and are grateful to Boeing for the trust and support that the company has given us since the day of our first flight five years ago. Training our team from experts at the Boeing level will enhance our competitive advantage as a European ACMI solutions provider and as a passenger carrier.

Upon completion of the training, each participant will receive a certificate from Boeing.

Boeing’s Airline Planning Workshop is a collaborative forum where airline participants engage with Boeing to gain insights on the industry, best practices, and trends. One of the goals is to develop current and future leaders at SkyUp to more positively impact the long-term profitability and sustainability of their airline. Hosting this workshop virtually has enabled Boeing to open up this opportunity to a larger group of SkyUp employees - said Paul Righi, Boeing vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing for Eurasia.
