SkyUp temporarily suspends flights to Yerevan due to increased risks

Following the results of the new risks’ assessment, SkyUp Airlines temporarily suspends its flight program on the Kyiv – Yerevan – Kyiv route. SkyUp continued to operate flights while it remained safe, however, Armenia reported on the use of air defense systems near the capital. In such conditions, the air carrier cannot endanger passengers. Safety is our absolute priority.

At the moment, flights that were scheduled for October 2 and 5 have been canceled. Regarding the further flights, the decision will be made depending on the development of events. As soon as the situation in the region stabilizes, air connection will be restored.

Passengers who have already purchased tickets for PQ401/402 KBP-EVN flights on October 2 or 5 have the opportunity to:

  • Refund the ticket price (back to the passenger's balance in the personal account or upon request to the contact center via [email protected]).
  • Change the departure date to October 9 or later free of charge.
  • Take a special Kyiv – Tbilisi – Kyiv flight on October 5 with the organization of a transfer green corridor from Tbilisi to Yerevan via surface carrier. We will additionally inform our passengers about the conditions and time of this flight.

We recommend that passengers who plan flights from Kyiv to Yerevan, or vice versa, to check the information on the website of the  Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Ukraine..

We hope that the conflict will be resolved in the near future, and the flights will again take place according to the schedule.
