Soon the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine will be handed over 1,500 medical first-aid kits made by particular order abroad. Funds for the purchase of first-aid kits (UAH3.2 million) were collected during the match between FC Shakhtar and Olympiakos (Greece) as part of the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace. The series of charity matches was initiated by FC Shakhtar and SkyUp Airlines with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the spring. Thanks to the project, UAH13.2 million were collected.
Everything necessary for the defenders of Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens and children affected by the war is purchased using the funds raised.

Back in the spring, we decided to hold a series of charity matches with our friends and partners from FC Shakhtar, and I am delighted that this project was fulfilled and helped raise money for the victory.”

As we promised, the proceeds from the match against Olympiacos were used to purchase 1,500 first aid kits. The military say it's an indispensable thing at the frontline, and we sincerely hope that it will help save many lives. Shakhtar, just like other businesses of Rinat Akhmetov, jointly with the club president's charitable foundation, has been helping people since the first days of the war and will continue helping. During the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace 5 charity matches were held in four countries: Croatia, Turkey, Poland, and Greece. Next season Football Club plans to organize such events again.
