SkyUp™ resumes cargo operations

18 February 2026, 18:37

SkyUp™ is resuming its cargo operations, a business line the company initially launched in 2020. Today, this segment is being integrated into a broader operational model alongside ACMI programs, charter services, and scheduled flights, complementing the airline’s existing business formats.

On February 5, 2026, the airline operated its first cargo shipment on regular flight along the Chișinău (Moldova) – Tel Aviv (Israel) route. The shipment volume totaled 546 kg.

The cargo program is implemented in partnership with TCE under the Total Cargo Management (TCM) model. Commercial sales are carried out through the international platforms ECS Group and Global GSA Group, ensuring coverage across key European and Mediterranean markets.

“The resumption of our cargo operations is a logical step within our business diversification strategy. We began developing this segment back in 2020, and today we are returning to it with an updated partnership model. Cooperation with TCE, ECS Group, and Global GSA Group enables us not only to resume operations but to establish a structured approach to cargo development — with clear allocation of responsibilities, transparent coordination, and international coverage,” comments Daria Alieksieienko, Director of Regulars.

Currently, SkyUp™ operates regular flights from Chișinău, providing a stable foundation for further development of the cargo segment. In parallel with ongoing operations, the company, together with its partners, is exploring the establishment of additional cargo concentration points within its network, which will enhance transportation efficiency and expand delivery geography.
