Interesting historical places
To experience the city’s antiquity, start your walk from the cozy Andriyivskyy Descent. This picturesque street was once part of an important trade route. Here you can visit the One Street Museum, which houses exhibits from ancient times: books, paintings, photographs, and documents related to the history of this place.
Then go down to Podil and look at the columns of one of the oldest educational institutions in Ukraine, the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. You can listen to street musicians and go to a cozy restaurant to drink aromatic coffee, overlooking the bustling city.
Later, take a stroll through the Mariinsky Park, visit the Grishko Botanical Garden, the Park Eternal of Glory, and the Taras Shevchenko Park. All of these will delight you with their well-groomed, vast territory.
We also recommend visiting the city's religious landmarks: elegant Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, ancient Sophia of Kyiv, built in the Baroque style, St Andrew'sAndrew's Church, and neo-Gothic Church of St. Nicholas.
Eating establishments
First of all, we recommend tasting traditional Ukrainian cuisine. Be sure to try borscht with pampushkas, potato pancakes with sour cream, or pierogi (dumplings) with different fillings (cabbage with mushrooms, potatoes, or cottage cheese) for a hearty meal in the center, Upper Town or Podil. In addition, in Kyiv, you can find restaurants of different world cuisines, such as Georgian, Mexican, or Thai.
We recommend tasting homemade tinctures, Ukrainian wines, or craft beer in Kyiv bars.
Accommodation
An overnight stay at a hostel in Kyiv costs € 10-12, a simple hotel € 40–50, and you can enjoy luxury apartments from € 150.
Where to go nearby
There are many options where to relax if you get tired of noisy Kyiv. If you like history, we advise that you visit the Kyivan Rus Park, which reconstructs battles and recreates the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. There are even wooden fortifications on the territory, like in ancient times. If you want to delve into the history and life of ancient Ukraine, visit Pyrohiv to see the houses of the Ukrainian peasantry of different times and regions.
You can also have a picnic near the so-called Kyiv Sea – a large reservoir on the Dnipro, the shores of which are not visible. In addition, you can rent a bike and explore the sizeable Dobropark, where many rare plants grow.

We at SkyUp want your trip to be comfortable and beautiful, and that you completely relax, forget about any worries and set out to relax already in the cabin.
SkyInterior on our sides SkyUp is one of the reasons why it is so pleasant and comfortable to fly with us. This is an integrated approach to the design of the aircraft cabin, which is based on the principles of ergonomics, rationalism and, of course, comfort.
The main and really impressive effect, which is noted by absolutely everything - is the multi-colored interior lighting, which is selected depending on the phase of flight. The colors change very smoothly within a few minutes and create an inconspicuous calming and relaxing effect during the flight.
In the night phase of the flight, the light is turned off; for comfort, only the pleasant blue Sky Skylight remains, which somewhat resembles the light of the moon. At dawn, when the time to wake up, the color of the backlight changes to orange-pink - the color of the rising sun.
SkyUp offers to enjoy the comfort of modern lounges and feel the incredible emotions during the flight. After all, the journey must begin beautifully, do you agree?
