Dmytro Seroukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines, was named the most effective executive in the European air travel market in 2022. This was reported by aeroTELEGRAPH, which compiles such a rating annually.
«I am grateful for this award to the entire SkyUp team because everything we have achieved is the result of joint efforts. Accepting challenges is one of the values of our company, and we have once again proven that nothing is impossible when real professionals are involved. We have survived and keep flying, and that's the main thing,» comments Dmytro Seroukhov.
The editors named Dmytro Seroukhov the best person of the year in the airline industry thanks to the airline's achievements in extremely difficult working conditions when the national air transport market in Ukraine was completely stopped due to the war.
The editors’ board and readers note that SkyUp, despite all the difficulties, managed to stay in the sky, saved the planes, and also continued to perform humanitarian and charter flights, as well as provide wet lease services. This helped save both the company and jobs for Ukrainians in difficult times for the country. In addition, aeroTELEGRAPH mentioned SkyUp's innovative approach to the uniform of flight attendants: in 2021 SkyUp replaced skirts and high-heeled shoes with more comfortable and modern sneakers and trouser suits.
Currently, SkyUp continues to operate flights under the conditions of a wet lease and is open to cooperation within the framework of governmental and non-governmental programs for the transportation of Ukrainian military and professional communities (athletes, doctors, etc.), providing transportation for delegations to participate in specialized events, training, etc.
