SKY UP NISTRU, a Moldova-based airline previously operating as Vision Air, has received an updated Air Operator Certificate following the completion of its rebranding process. This is an important step in strengthening the operational platform for SkyUp™’s development in Moldova and further expanding cooperation between the two companies.
SkyUp™ and SKY UP NISTRU have been working together in the Moldovan market for almost a year. During this period, the cooperation has supported the development of scheduled and charter flights from Chisinau and helped expand travel options for customers. For passengers, the rebranding means a clearer and more recognizable travel experience under the SkyUp™ brand, with a consistent service approach and a growing route network from Moldova.
“Receiving the updated AOC is an important milestone for SKY UP NISTRU and for the further development of SkyUp™’s presence in Moldova,” says Dmytro Sieroukhov, General Director at SkyUp Airlines. “Over the past year, we have built practical and effective cooperation in this market. This step gives us a stronger foundation to continue developing operations from Moldova, expanding travel opportunities for customers and building the SkyUp™ brand in the region.”
SKY UP NISTRU operates in line with applicable safety, compliance, and operational requirements. The airline also holds the necessary approvals and authorisations to operate commercial flights to the European Union and the United Kingdom, as well as Canadian foreign operator approval for certain types of operations.
Currently, flights under the SkyUp™ brand are operated by the following carriers:
- SkyUp Airlines LLC (IATA: PQ), registered in Ukraine;
- SkyUp MT Limited (IATA: U5), registered in Malta (EU);
- SKY UP NISTRU (IATA: 4V), registered in Moldova.
