SkyUp (PQ) has officially become a member of IATA (International Air Transport Association) — the global trade association that represents nearly 350 airlines and more than 80% of global air traffic. This achievement confirms SkyUp’s (PQ) compliance with international safety and operational standards and opens new opportunities for growth on the global stage.
“Joining IATA is an important step in our development. It confirms that SkyUp (PQ) is a stable airline committed to safety and meeting the highest standards of global aviation. We will continue to introduce innovations and strengthen our position in the international market. We believe that soon we will return to the Ukrainian skies and use the expertise we have gained to contribute to the development of national aviation,” said Dmytro Sieroukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines™.
“We are delighted to welcome SkyUp Airlines to the IATA family. Having been on the IOSA registry since 2023, SkyUp has now taken the next step to become an IATA member. SkyUp will benefit from access to IATA’s services and expertise. But IATA will also benefit from having SkyUp as part of our community, enriching the diversity of our membership and contributing important insights into the challenges facing airlines in this crucial region,” said Rafael Schvartzman, IATA’s Regional Vice President for Europe.
IATA Membership gives SkyUp (PQ) access to leading global markets and allows the airline to operate under unified industry standards. It helps accelerate regulatory approvals, optimize costs, and provides opportunities to participate in IATA working groups and committees that shape key industry initiatives. For SkyUp (PQ), this is not only a major achievement but also a responsibility to keep improving safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining its reputation as a trusted international carrier.
