The maximum of Georgia: SkyUp announces more flights from Kyiv and regions

SkyUp Airlines is expanding its flight program to Georgia. To make flights even more accessible, as well as provide an opportunity for more Ukrainians to travel, we are resuming flights from Kyiv and Kharkiv, and opening new flights from Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, and Odesa.

Flights from Kyiv

Kyiv – Tbilisi: starting from March 1, the flights will depart every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. From the end of March, it is planned to increase frequencies up to 7 times a week. From May 29, there will be 10 flights, because on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays flights SkyUp will operate flights twice a day.

Kyiv – Batumi: starting from April 4, the flights will depart every Thursday and Sunday, but later the number of flights will increase, and in summer, SkyUp will operate these flights daily.

Flights from Zaporizhzhia

Zaporizhzhia – Batumi: starting from May 28 flights will depart on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Flights from Lviv

Lviv – Tbilisi: starting from April 28 flights will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Lviv – Batumi: starting from April 29 flights will depart on Thursdays and Sundays, and from June 1 the number will increase up to four times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Flights from Odesa

Odesa – Tbilisi: starting from April 28 flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays.

Odesa – Batumi: starting from April 29 the flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, and from June 1 their frequency will increase with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Flights from Kharkiv

Kharkiv – Tbilisi: starting from April 27 the flights will depart on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Kharkiv – Batumi: starting from April 28 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and from May 28 also on Mondays and Fridays.

Information for tourists

  • From March 1, 2021, citizens of Ukraine, who travel by plane will be able to visit Georgia, if they have a negative PCR test taken 72 hours in advance.
  • On the third day of staying in Georgia, tourists must pass one more PCR test.
  • Hotels in mountain resorts have been opened since February 25, 2021. From March 1 in Batumi, and from March 8 throughout Georgia, restaurants and other catering facilities will operate indoors, except on weekends. In addition, museums will open on March 1.
  • The curfew from 21:00 to 5:00 remains in force.
  • According to the information of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regarding countries with a wide spread of COVID-19, as of February 19, 2021, Georgia is classified in the green zone.
