SkyUp (U5) officially landed at Barcelona Airport on April 23, 2025, marking the first direct scheduled flight from Chisinau, Moldova. This new route offers an efficient connection between Spain and Eastern Europe, providing a great opportunity for Spanish tourists and business travelers to explore new destinations in Moldova and Eastern Europe.
Additionally, this route is convenient for travel to and from Ukraine, as Chisinau International Airport is located close to the Ukrainian border, ensuring fast and seamless travel logistics.
