Visit the city's architectural landmarks: Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, Saint Sophia Cathedral, St. Andrew's Church (which, by the way, is located on top of Andrew's Descent), Church of St. Nicholas, and the Mariinskyi Palace.

Pay special attention to parks and gardens in Kyiv: Mariinskyi Park, Hryshko Botanical Garden, Park of Glory, and Taras Shevchenko Park are ideal for leisurely walks.

Try traditional Ukrainian food, such as borscht, dumplings (pierogi), or pampushkas (similar to donuts) in Podil, the center, and the Upper Town. In addition, along the way, you will come across many establishments with cuisines of different peoples. Just choose what you like best.
